"Voices Of Lombard Street" ambient sound
Roles: Producer, recordist, engineer, exhibit design/installation
Project Description:
The Jewish Museum of Maryland, seeking to create a rich immersion experience for its new
exhibit, "Voices of Lombard Street," commissioned this piece as a combination of
environmental sound and oral history. Recorded from scripts created by a Los Angeles
screenwriter, these dialogues and accompanying sound were installed in the exhibit's "deli"
space to give visitors the sense that they were overhearing snippets of conversation between
historic figures in a Lombard Street deli.
